Sharing the thoughts and news of the life of the Kilfords

For us here in Spain we are in the middle of Summer! Classes don't start until October, everyone is out on holidays, and the weather is usually pretty good (even up here on the North Coast!).
In our previous post Darren already told you about La Industria's summer camp, which was a great success, and also about our plans to visit Jersey in September - we are getting super excited about seeing our friends and Darren is planning on eating nothing but Fish & Chips, Indian Take Aways, English Breakfast, etc...
Luke keeps doing well
Luke will be 9 months in just a couple of days and he just brings us such joy! He continues to develop ok and he is almost at a 5 month old level, which is not bad at all!
At the beginning of June we had some specific prayer points. One of the things we were a bit concerned about was his ability to focus on people and things. He is doing so well now! He will follow you wherever and is very interested in toys and things, he reaches for them, takes them to his mouth, etc. So thanks for praying!
His muscle tone seems to be a bit better in his legs but his right arm and hand are still noticeably worse with very high tone. This affects his movement but he doesn't give up and keeps trying to use his arm. He is a fighter!
Nephew Dan and Mum Elaine
Our nephew Dan (1), and his family, are getting used to the insuline pump and all the required care since he was diagnosed as diabetic. He is still very up and down, very unstable, but my sister and her family are finding strength in God and faith for healing.
Darren's mother Elaine is getting progressively worse. We pray that they can make her as comfortable as possible, and we hope to be able to all go see her very soon.
Work with La Industria
We are currently in the process of interviewing applicants to our 9 month discipleship and arts program. There seems to be a very exciting group of students in the making and we are thrilled and looking forward to seeing what God will do in them and through them.
Another very exciting thing is that, after months and months - maybe two years, of looking for a warehouse that we could purchase and move into, we have finally seen something that could work really well for our ministry. We are excited to have found a posible place and, we confess, very challenged by the whole process (and miracle) of actually purchasing it.
The "finally"s
It seems like after a year of living in this house we may actually (finally!) have a phone line installed this week (we'll believe it when we see it though) and after almost five months we have our car back... (finally!) Both are long stories of life in Spain that I'm sure Darren would love to tell you about...
