Sharing the thoughts and news of the life of the Kilfords

It's October and "normal life" seems to have been restaured after the summer and the "events" of the last 10 months.

Last weekend we began this year's discipleship course. We (again) have a small group of four but we are excited about what will do through them and in each one of them. We had about six other people almost confirmed to come, but in the end they couldn't make it! This was quite disappointing and I was made aware of the battle we are in: these young people's lives are totally transformed by God during the program and "someone" obviously doesn't want them here... But, anyhoo... I am super happy to be able to be involved in the creation of the productions. Last year I was taken out of it quite abruptly and I am thankful that Luke's physio schedule and my amazing husband allow me to spend time creating with the students.

We had a great time with Darren's mum and the family. It was grea to see them and talk lots. We hope to go back in the near future. Please continue to pray for her healing and comfort at this time.

Luke keeps filling us with joy and awe - he is growing and developing each day, he is such a happy baby and a charmer... His doctors and therapists continue to be happy with his development, although the problems with the right side appear to be more and more obvious. We are so thankful for his life, for the miracle of his life, and he brings much healing to our hearts for the loss of Jack.

Darren is playing next door with Luke and the sounds and giggles are distracting me too much to keep writing! Thanks for your prayers and love!

We're out for a bit now but maybe later I'll be able to upload some pictures from our trips.

Much love, and may God surprise you too,

Mariberta
